A Research Assistant position is currently available in the Temasek Laboratories@NTU.
Key Responsibilities:
- Optimize the slurry formulations for 3D printing.
- Scale up the printed ceramic dimensions and tackle the potential challenges
- Improve the material properties to fulfill design requirement
- Draft technical report and manuscript for publication
- Mentor PhD/FYP students
Job Requirements:
- Minimally Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science & Engineering with 2nd upper honors
- At least 1 year’s relevant experience in material research. Work experience in ceramic processing is preferred
- Experience in 3D printing of materials and using SolidWork or other digital model building software is preferred
- Excellent academic record
- Preferably with published 1-2 peer-reviewed papers
- Good interpersonal skills
- Excellent teamwork awareness
- Good communication and writing in English
- Self-motivation, strong responsibility for research/ work
