The National Institute of Education invites suitable applicants for the position of a part-time Research Assistant on contract basis at the NIE Director’s Office.
Project Title: Examining the construct of future-readiness through the lenses of education leaders and their institutional practices
Project Introduction: This study aims to unpack the construct of ‘future-readiness’ to derive principles and practical implications for educating students in higher education. This study will investigate how international IHL education leaders conceptualise the terminology in their institutional leadership and practice. Their articulation will be referenced against contemporary ideas about the future and preparation for the future beyond the realm of education discourse.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university
- Relevant experience in reviewing research literature and supporting research projects
- Good interpersonal communication and writing skills
- Expertise in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Proactive, willing to learn, reliable and able to manage concurrent tasks in a timely manner
Responsibilities
- Conduct literature searches and write reviews
- Assist in transcription, analysis of data and summarising of research findings
- Compile EndNote database for reference
- Assist with preparation of draft research project reports, presentations and papers for publication with minimal supervision
- Other tasks as assigned by the Principal Investigator
