Job Description
The Centre for Healthy Longevity is seeking a Head of Partnerships and Innovation to spearhead its business strategic portfolio.
Ideally, the candidate should have had at least 8 years of working experience in a development capacity in the life sciences/ medical/ biotechnology field. The candidate should have a strong understanding of commercialisation opportunities applicable to the organisation and capability to lead projects from start to finish. The candidate should also be articulate in framing the broader vision of the organization to external parties, and have demonstrated success in establishing corporate partnerships in the past.
Responsibilities include:
• Identify and secure opportunities for the organisation that achieve long-term sustainability.
• Lead strategic clinical implementation such as the opening of the Healthy Longevity Medicine clinic at Alexandra hospital.
• Lead strategic promotional activities that advance the field of Healthy Longevity Medicine.
• Drive commercialisation projects and serve as a core member of the project team.
• Coordinate activities and deliverables and enable cross-functional discussions from a project management and business effectiveness lens; and cross-functional strategic perspective.
• In partnership with research and clinical leads, develop and operationally support cross-functional strategy.
• Work closely with the leadership team and identify opportunities for efficiencies and dependencies with internal and external partners.
• Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders and potential industry partners; including an individualised understanding of their priorities, business challenges and interests, with the aim to advance the strategic priorities of the organisation.
• Ensure clear project strategy and visibility across cross-functional stakeholders.
• Ensure effective collaboration including team meetings/agendas/minutes.
• Lead the creation of digital and physical materials to promote the organisation to public and private partners.
Qualifications
• Degree holder in medical/ biomedical/ life sciences (preferred)
• At least 8 years of working experience in a development capacity in the life sciences/ medical/ biotechnology field.
• Working knowledge of legal documents (preferred)
• Working experience in clinical and research setting (preferred)
• Effective and thoughtful communicator
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Strong organisational and administrative skills
