About the Job
The Demand Planner Junior at Supernova is an integral part of a cross-functional Operations team charged with enabling Supernova’s growth objectives by planning and managing inventory across multiple sales channels and warehouses within the business. This role will work closely with multiple departments including purchasing, sales and logistics There will also be daily involvement with our Fulfillment team to understand inventory fluctuations and movements. The ideal candidate will have a complete obsession for quality, continuous improvements, and customer satisfaction. You thirst for a fast paced, entrepreneurial workplace and maintain high energy levels in a constantly changing environment as you share our core values.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor inventory levels across all Supernova products and report potential shortages and OOS risk to the Demand Planning Manager.
- Analyze stock levels, forecasts, historical sales and marketing campaigns to propose recommended purchase quantities/inventory transfers and required freight modes to achieve optimal inventory level per warehouse and SKU.
- Support and coordinate the launch of new SKUs with relevant partners.
- Work closely with production, fulfillment, freight to ensure supply is ready on time.
- Monitor the arrival of all products and ensure fulfillment and warehouse managers receive goods timely, escalate issues when necessary.
- Support the Demand Planning Manager to raise POs and intercompany transactions.
- Work closely with the finance team to ensure all intercompany transactions are accurately represented during month-end closing.
- Effectively update PO arrival dates in ERP system, ensuring accurate and timely data flows from ERP system to reports.
- Assist in performing ad-hoc tasks according to business needs e.g special projects assigned by the Demand Planning Manager.

Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree or ability to demonstrate equivalent
- 1-3 years proven experience with e-commerce, supply chain, inventory, and freight management
- An analytical mind - with strong experience in excel / google sheets.
- These characteristics describe you: independent yet a team player, punctual, reliable, upbeat, organized, and a strong communicator, “can do” attitude – no job is too big or too small
- Proactive with strong attention to detail
- Positive attitude – always willing to go the extra mile
