Senior/ Junior Cyber Security Engineer (ENDPOINT)
An advanced Cyber Security firm is expanding in the South-East Asia (SEA) region, and are now seeking experienced Cyber Security Engineers to Implement and Deploy Global Security Software.
Major Government and Private security projects are currently underway with a large pipeline of long-term projects on hand. We are actively seeking for cyber security professionals to join this growth and expansion.
This role is based in Singapore.
The Opportunity:
Due to the large pipeline of projects, you will be given the opportunity to be an integral part of the core team and to be a part of the expanding business where you will be involved in high profile projects.
You will receive comprehensive training from global computer security software principals to bring you up to speed on current projects where there is a focus on quality.
What we look for:
- Ability to demonstrate an expertise and deep understanding in your area of practice of cyber security
- You should have at least 1 security certification (CISSP, CompTIA Security+, EC-Council Certified Endpoint Protection Specialist)
- You can demonstrate in depth experience with solutioning and implementation of security tools such as (any of the following):
- EDR (End Point Detection & Response),
- EPP (End Point Protection Platform),
- XDR (Extended Detection & Response)
- IPS/IDS (Intrusion Protection System/Intrusion Detection System)
- An ability to manage and execute complex projects such as the integration and upgrade of security solutions
- Knowledge and understanding of security products such as Symantec Endpoint Protection, CrowdStrike Falcon, Microsoft Defender or other security software
- Has experience in implementing and administering endpoint security systems on client devices to reinforce defences against cyber threats.
- Possesses background in developing endpoint security policies, standards, and procedures in compliance with industry regulations.
- Experience in adopting security guidelines and best practices to advise on processes and procedures that align with customer’s polices
- Able to collaborate with internal engineers to deploy cyber security solutions
- Strong with documentation activities
- Ability to work independently on projects, project management, problem solving and ability to communicate well
