Our client, a leading freight forwarding company based in Singapore, is looking for a Customer Service Executive to join their team. The ideal candidate should have about 3 years of experience in the frieght forwarding industry and has experience using cargowise.
Job Description
- Communicate with customers and overseas offices and keep the customer informed on shipment status
- Prepare quotations and submit to customers
- Understand customer requirements
- Follow standard operating procedures
- Achieve a positive success rate of quotations submitted
- Handle cross trades
- Develop customers / gain new customers
- Calling of customers for customer maintenance and reporting in the CRM system
- Cooperate with the operations department to ensure that customer expectations are fulfilled by operations
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in freight forwarding industry
- Experience with cargowise would be preferred
- Work location in the west
