about the job
In this role, you will be responsible to manage office operations across APAC and to provide leadership to the Regional Administration Team, which includes facilities management, security, event and office services, reception and secretarial support teams, by planning and implementing strategies for cross-functional and integrated work. Vendor and contracts management, budget planning, reporting and analytics, as well as the development and maintenance of upcoming / existing regional offices, will fall under your scope of work. You will partner with the Global Heads of the functions under your care to ensure that operations run smoothly across the APAC offices while complying with internal policies related to travel services and event management. The role will also require you to maintain knowledge of current and emerging trends to extend market-leading services and ensure compensation and training opportunities for the regional team stay competitive in the market.
about the manager/team
You will be reporting to the Global Head of the department based in the US, while working closely with the APAC HR Lead based in Singapore. You will be leading and guiding a team of Admin Managers, who manage their local offices across the region.
skills and experience required
The ideal candidate should be tertiary educated and come with at least 15 years of experience in office management in a fast-paced environment and with strong supervisory experience in managing a team of admin managers based all over the region. You will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence and engage internal and external stakeholders, along with strong people management skills to lead the Admin Managers from the regional offices with confidence. Coming with prior experience in project management of large-scale initiatives and a demonstrated ability to manage, drive and report the performance of projects and teams to senior management, will contribute to your success in this role. You will need to have a superb sense of responsibility, integrity and priority, and demonstrate good judgement while working under pressure.
