RESPONSIBILITY
· Work with all the stake holders across the company to ensure alignment on product development goals & objectives.
· Conduct market research, analysis & customer reviews to identify customer's needs & pain points.
· Analyze product performance data & customer feedback to inform future product development decisions.
· Research white space gaps for Rawbought product aligning with Directors and Design Head.
· Create Tech Packs for Prototypes of new products for future launches working with UK Design & Directors.
· Resolving all the technical issues that arise during pre and post-production.
· Review and update Tech Packs to cater to the size fit of Rawbought products. Working closely with UK Lead Fit Tech to ensure fit is aligned and conduct wearer trial.
· Work closely with Rawbought marketing, technical & design and the management to optimize productivity and profitability.
· Liaising daily with Rawbought PDC (Product development centre).
· Fashion trend forecasts for designs and product development.
· Responsible for sample development: fabric swatches, colour swatches, etc..
· Ability to use Adobe Illustrator to create technical product drawings.
· Ability to create 3D CLO designs preferred.
· Custodian of all the samples.
· Travel when required to the factory to sign off product prototypes.
· Any other ad hoc responsibilities as required.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Merchandising, or a related field.
· Minimum of 3 years of experience as Product Developer / Merchandiser.
· Proven track record in the product developer role in the fashion apparel industry.
· Strong knowledge of textiles, garment construction, and manufacturing processes.
· Excellent project management and organizational skills.
· Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
· Technical understanding of garment construction.
· Proven experience in the full sample development cycle, from ideation all the way to final gold seal sample (before handing it over to the merchandiser).
