Job Responsibilities:
- Plan, lead and monitor progress and performance against the project plan
- Manages day-to-day operational aspects of projects which includes manpower planning, construction progress monitoring, preparation of master schedule and cost control.
- Exercise timely instructions to deal with the results of delays, bad weather or emergencies at construction project sites.
- Liaise closely with clients, consultants, sub-contractors, relevant authorities and developers in resolving site issues and authorities’ compliances issues to avoid discrepancies.
- Review manpower planning and monitoring of work schedules to ensure orderly delegation of jobs and smooth operation.
- Perform cost management to manage projects within approved budgets, include materials, manpower and machinery cost control for new and running projects.
- Exercise effectively safe and economical methodology and enforces project standards
- To perform any other ah-hoc duties as and when assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Possess recognised Degree in Project Management or its equivalent
- Minimum 10 years’ construction working experience in project/site management in construction industry
- Preferably completed relevant safety courses required by MOM
- Independent, diligent, meticulous and highly motivated with excellent team spirit
- Good project management, communication and good analytical skills
- Ability to work with tight schedule in a fast-paced environment
- Adopt a proactive mindset when facing and solving issues; take charge of the planning and organization of resources and activities at the site
- Proponent of lean principles, actively seeking to maximize value and minimize waste in processes and resource management
- Believer of empirical data and measurement as the basis of decision-making to improve efficiency and productivity
