Temasek Laboratories@NTU is looking for a candidate to join them as a Research Assistant. We are hiring a Research Assistant for a credibility assessment project. The research assistant will perform a variety of functions related to research. The candidate is expected to work closely with the project team to perform task assigned.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct literature reviews and technology scan/assessment
- Assist with the research design and statistical analyses
- Assist with writing progress and final research report
- Contribute to research publications and presentations
- Engage in the dissemination of research findings/results to defense partners, under supervision of the Principal Investigator
- Perform administrative work associated with HSSIR
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology or its equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience in research work
- Experience with qualitative data analysis will be added advantage
- Proficiency in MS office, statistical analysis using SPSS, R or Stata
- Good interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Good time management skills and the ability to work within tight deadlines is a must
- Strong team player with the capacity to learn and work independently
