Primary Objectives of Position:
Ensure products are in compliance with regulatory requirements and provide technical support to stakeholders pertaining to regulatory affairs.
Major Responsibilities:
- Monitor, update and maintain global food additives / flavouring related legislatons and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain & support and liaise with certification bodies in the renewal and new applications of products or raw materials religious certifications such as Halal & Kosher Certificates.
- Provide assistance regulatory compliance audit actitivites.
- Provide technical support pertaining to regulatory affairs:
- Advise internal stakeholders on the compliance and suitability in accordance with food / additive/ flavouring legislations on day-to-day enquiries/ new projects
- Analyse and update the suitability of new ingredients introduced for projects.
- Manage and provide support to internal/ external stakeholders on products’ technical enquiries/questionnaires/ forms through online portal or emails.
- Administer the provision of products’ declarations and questionnaires in accordance with company policies and best practices.
Required Skills:
- Degree/Diploma in Food Science / Food Technology, Chemistry or equivalent
- Meticulous, detailed and organized
- Well verse in Microsoft environment (MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, 365 etc.)
- Good understanding of the global framework of Food Laws & Regulations
- Good communication and coordination skills with high attention to details
- Analytical and abreast of new policy changes pertaining to regulatory affairs
- Basic understanding of halal / kosher requirements
- Demonstrated commitment and understanding of food safety and quality principles

- Working days is from Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm
