RESPONSIBILITIES
- Understand project HVAC engineering scope of work and interfaces
- Review, manage, coordinate, monitor and control the project HVAC engineering work
- Review HVAC design subcontractor’s design deliverables to ensure it meets project specifications and related design codes and standards
- Review HVAC design subcontractor’s design to ensure it is a cost effective design
- Review equipment and duct layout, organize 3D model review with Client and design subcontractor
- Maintain HVAC discipline related TQ, SQ , DCR registers and monitor the status
- Ensuring and identification, tracking and management of all design changes in the Scope of Work, schedule, and that all changes are captured through the Project Variation Management System
- Involve in HVAC equipment and system installation technical support work and HVAC system mechanical completion, pre-commissioning and commissioning work, provide technical support to installation, pre-com/com team
- Provide guides to junior HVAC engineer
- Provide bid supports to Commercial department
- Familiar with the specific requirement of marine offshore related
REQUIREMENTS:
- BS degree in HVAC engineering or equivalent from an accredited university or college (or international equivalent), with minimum 15 years of HVAC design experience
- Proficient in performing HVAC design calculations and equipment selection for buildings located inside Oil & Gas, Refinery facilities
- Knowledgeable with ASHRAE Standards and Building and Codes (IBC, IFC, IPC and NFPA)
- Proficient with Carrier HAP, Trace or other soft wares
- Able to work in project groups with shared-work teams
- Experience with field installation / commissioning activities for HVAC system
