Our client is one of Oil Trading companies whom has a strong presence in Asia, and they are looking for hire a Charterer, responsible for managing the chartering activities related to the transportation of LPG cargoes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Negotiate and finalize charter party agreements for LPG cargoes, considering terms and conditions that align with the company's interests.
- Stay informed about market trends, freight rates, and industry developments to make informed decisions regarding chartering strategies.
- Work closely with operations and logistics teams to optimize vessel schedules, ensuring timely and efficient transportation of LPG cargoes
- Identity and assess potential risks associated with chartering activities and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of charter party agreements, including terms, conditions, and performance criteria.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marine Studies with 3 years of experience in LPG chartering or vessel operations
- Strong understanding of international shipping regulations and market dynamics.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Able to handle pressure and stress
- Strong team player, and able to work independently to deliver quality output.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
