The company has a significant presence in Asia in terms of its reputable market position in developing best-in-class supply chain management capabilities, and takes pride in ensuring optimized regional activities to achieve maximized customer satisfaction.
They are currently on an active look out for a suitable candidate as a Senior Manager, Supply Chain Excellence (Consumer Goods), who is the critical point of contact in terms of ensuring smooth and efficient upstream supply chain processes and demand excellence work flow, in line with Asia manufacturing expansion plans and/or footprints.
Reporting to the Head of Regional Supply Chain Management, and this position will be focusing on the below:
Responsibilities:
Lead supply chain planning team to oversee end to end regional Supply Chain Process Excellence by working closely with commercial leaders and manufacturing sites, essentially to support business and operations expansion and growth
Spearhead continuous process improvements in across upstream Production Capacity Planning, with acquired experiences strategic inventory analysis in a complex FMCG Manufacturing environment, including that of in-house Packaging production activities.
Actively collaborate with Asia and Global sites to ensure optimal demand forecast and supply balance management, including that of managing inventory and safety stock levels within Asia by means of introducing effective replenishment planning processes etc. to ensure on time delivery to retail stores and assigned customers.
Strategize supply allocation management to deliver cost synergies and related optimization to support Supply Chain Transformation
Spearhead supply chain continuous improvement program to ensure Supply Chain Excellence for key markets such as Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, Europe etc.
Requirements:
Singapore • Permanent
1. Bachelor’s Degree with at least 8 - 10 years of relevant experience in end-to-end Supply Chain or related International Business Management experiences in a complex Fast Moving Consumer Goods environment
1. Proven track record in acquired solution-oriented mind set to deal with complex and matrix organizational framework
2. Excellent hands-on experience and knowledge in driving Supply Chain Excellence
3. Excellent interpersonal communication skills to relay and/or drive process improvements across a global organisation to important stakeholders
4. Good understanding of ORACLE and equivalent ERP system is highly preferred
