Dyson’s multidisciplinary Energy Storage development team is responsible for delivering cells from early prototypes in the UK, through to volume manufacture in a Singapore plant. The cells that the team delivers will push the boundaries of performance, power density, and efficiency. These cells will drive new high value Dyson products with step improvements over our competitors.
Dyson Energy Storage is seeking a highly motivated Supply Chain Project Manager to work closely with engineering, Manufacturing, development and finance teams to set up supply chain for the new department. You will have a significant contribution to increasing the speed at which engineering can innovate. Your work will have a direct impact on our ability to scale prototype concepts and builds while continuing to innovate our products and processes.
About the role
- Ensure end to end supply chain capabilities, processes and capabilities are built on time and on scope with internal stakeholders.
- Work with Digital team to define supply chain technology developments and integration.
- Plan and deliver material and equipment needs for testing and production
- Ensure all licenses and permits are obtained
- Work with all stakeholders within Energy Storage business unit and Dyson enterprise to ensure supply chain set up is done on time, on scope and on budget.
About you
- Demonstrated Supply Chain project experience in manufacturing / operations capacity
- Experience in Greenfield project with large CAPEX
- Engineering or Chemical Engineering background
- PMP / Lean Sigma 6 certified
