Job Description:
· To provide counselling on an individual or group basis to students
· To do counselling casework which includes liaising with school management, teaching staff, parents, external agencies and external stakeholders
· To facilitate the necessary referrals to external agencies such as Reach Community Services and Family service Centres.
· To provide case consultations to school personnel and parents
· To ensure confidentiality and keep record all counselling work and case management as required by school and to provide school with report when necessary
· To support other Counsellors on running of the school programme
To be part of a team to devise and deliver preventive programmes for students with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties
Working Arrangement:
Location: Yishun
Contract Duration: 2 Jan 2024 to 24 May 2024

Working Hours:
· Weekdays (School Term):
· Estimated 28 (7.30am to 1.30pm = 5.5hrs/day with 30mins break) hours per week;
· Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays, School holidays and gazetted public holidays
Job Requirements:
· Trained Counsellor / Social Worker / Psychologist / Para Counsellor with relevant professional counselling qualifications
· Experienced in designing, planning and facilitating group guidance programmes for students
· Competent in working with parents
· Preferably 3 years of working with primary school students, in the capacity of counselling in a school context.
