With our commitment to delivering a better transportation experience, we are looking for a Senior Specialist, APAC Trade Compliance and Transportation to work with internal & external stakeholders on optimizing the transportation network between our APAC production plants.
What you will do
- Coordinate the APAC transportation network between the three main APAC production plants (Singapore, Philippines, and China) and the main distribution centers and country warehouses.
- Manage carriers at an international level, including express couriers and freight forwarders. This involves handling business relations, performance evaluations, and cost reviews.
- Create and support freight optimization projects for the APAC region.
- Oversee daily tasks related to freight monitoring and customs clearance at the distribution site in Singapore.
- Implement a trade compliance program and conduct periodic audits on trade compliance matters.
What you bring
- At least 5 years of operational experience in international transportation, preferably in a parcel environment.
- Proficiency in carrier management, including conducting reviews and coordinating daily operations.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP. Proven history of delivering transportation network optimization projects (cost, performance, etc.).
- A broader understanding of related supply chain processes (warehouse, purchasing, etc.) is advantageous.
- Advanced communication, interpersonal, and intercultural skills for working with global stakeholders.
