Your Role
We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to assist and lead Singapore branch in sales activities of Ocean, Air, Courier and Warehousing.
What Will You Do
- To assist and lead Singapore Branch in sales activities of Ocean, Air, Courier and Warehousing.
- To set appointments and present business proposals to potential customers through various communication channels, including face-to-face meetings, telephone calls, emails and etc.
- To manage and maintain pipelines, respond to requests for information in a timely manner, and remain proactive and responsive to prospective customers.
- To plan weekly sales calls.
- To follow up on all sales leads.
- To submit daily and weekly reports to management.
- To study the market inclusive, but not limited to competitors, carriers and manufacturers/customers to be updated on market trends, fluctuation, change and etc.
- To be responsible for the P&L.
- To perform timely response to the tenders and RFQs.
- To effectively interact with other departments including, the account management, operation & logistics teams, and finance department.
- To perform any other duties as assigned by management.
What Do We Want
- At least a Diploma or Degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of working experience in Business development in a freight forwarding company and established relationship with stakeholders.
- Self-driven and highly motivated.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
