Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Project Director to ensure high project quality standards.
- Ensure adherence to project specifications and guidelines.
- Investigate, document, and report any instances of non-compliance.
- Handle client quality audits and prepare necessary documentation.
- Develop project inspection test plans (ITPs).
- Prepare project-related documents.
- Address and manage issues related to defective welding and oversee non-destructive testing (NDT) activities.
- Demonstrate proficiency in understanding and managing Workplace Safety and Health issues.
- Oversee all project testing requirements, including Hydrostatic Tests, Leak Tests, and more.
- Maintain records of steel raw material traceability, including Mill certificates and heat numbers.
Key Competencies:
- Possess knowledge in Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical Engineering.
- Familiarity with General Hardware.
- Capable of reading and interpreting Engineering Drawings.
- Strong communication and writing skills.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management.
Professional Experience:
- Previous work experience in Malaysian petrochemical plants, specifically dealing with projects.
- Demonstrated experience in project management.
- Proven track record of working with oil company contractors.
- Reporting experience to Project Directors or Project Managers.
