About the Role
Here at Howden Group Holdings, we are transforming the way we deliver HR services to our business, and this is an exciting time to join our evolving HR function as we look to drive commercially aligned and strategic HR support to our stakeholders.
This is an exciting opportunity to deliver ambitious people plans, manage transformational and change-focused stakeholder groups, support leadership and employees across our businesses. This is a varied role as you will provide HR support for the fast-growing and highly profitable business, whilst also playing an active role in shaping the delivery of HR solutions.
You will role model HR best practice; establish credibility and trust with stakeholders at all levels; support innovation through advising, challenging, and facilitating discussions with leaders on a wide range of issues – all in a rapidly evolving and growing business.
The successful incumbent will bring with them prior experience of embedding consistent HR practices and will have a strong track record of delivery within fast-paced, highly commercial, and entrepreneurial environments. In addition, they will have experience of delivering beyond the day-to-day operational remit and working closely with the Regional HR Director and colleagues within the Centres of Expertise to deliver wider HR strategic initiatives and priorities, supporting the strategy and growth of the group.
YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Works with the Regional HRD as a strategic partner to the stakeholders
· In a regional capacity, ensures the effective management of people-related planning, employee issues, processes, and initiatives in alignment with best practices while engaging with senior stakeholders
· Partners with local HR managers to accomplish HR objectives
· Works as the project lead on global HR initiatives and work with the country HR teams to support implementation and change plans
· Act as an advocate and champion for our company core values
· Supports talent identification and retention, talent management, succession planning, performance management, recruitment and organisation development to deliver strong HR processes for the region
· Works with the country teams to identify training needs and with global teams to leverage support, guidance and implementation
· Coordinates with the Group on the annual compensation and bonus processes, consolidating and reviewing submissions at the regional level, and analysing the overall data
· Uses data from HRIS, People Surveys and market intelligence, combined with personal influence to inform decision making and provide business insight, to make positive changes
· HR reporting: runs value-added HR reports and converts data into insights to support proposals and influence people matters to solve business challenges or opportunities
· Works collaboratively with the Group HR Centres of Excellences (e.g. Talent, HRS, L&D, Recruitment, Reward) to continuously improve the HR solutions
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL BE:
· Proven HR Business Partner with 3 to 5 years of regional business partnering experience
· A hands-on HR practitioner. In this role, you will work on both strategic and operational HR matters developing effective trusting relationships with key stakeholders
· A self-starter who can proactively define process improvement opportunities, streamline, and simplify HR structure and processes as needed.
· A business savvy HR professional with strong transformation and change experience
· Ability to influence and manage challenging stakeholders and business leaders with a high level of resilience.
· Able to adapt in a fast paced and changing environment with ambiguity
· Able to challenge confidently whilst maintaining credible relationships as well as handling a range of difficult conversations and situations
· Demonstrable experience with HR Metrics
· Be an advocate for embedding diversity and inclusion into work place issues eg talent acquisition and development, employee programs
