Responsibilities:
- To maintain safety & health in accordance with WSH Act and WSH legislative requirements
- Responsible for administration of safety & health records accordingly to the company’s accreditation such as ISO 45001
- Responsible for implementation and administration of site Safety Management Plan, identification of WSH Hazards, implementation of control measures, conduct Safety inspection and Safety committee meetings, update and reviewing of changes
- To provide technical and professional safety assistance to the site construction management
- To brief Project Manager / Project Team regularly on the execution status of the EHS program
- To conduct daily EHS toolbox meeting, prepare and maintain PTW records
- Promptly correct any unsafe condition or practice
- To conduct accident / incident investigations and preparation of investigation reports, including the effective closures of all corrective / preventive actions
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned
Requirements
- Candidate must possess Advance Certificate in Workplace Safety & Health, Risk Management and First Aid certified
- Minimum 1 year of WSH experience
- Able to communicate well with subordinates, all level of managements and clients
- Literate effectively in speaking and written English
- Responsible and with good attitude personnel
- Willing to work under minimum supervision
- Proficient with Microsoft Offices applications
