Program Overview:
The Aerospace Experienced Commercial Leadership Program (ECLP) is a best-in-class mid-career level leadership program designed to build the next generation of commercial leaders at GE Aerospace. This intensive 3-year rotational program is designed to accelerate the career of high potential talent through challenging rotational experiences, robust training, coaching and development opportunities, as well as executive level mentorship. During the three years on program, ECLPs will experience:
- Three challenging one-year assignments directly tied to org level KPIs within GE Aerospace’s Commercial Engines and Services division
- A robust learning curriculum aligned to the development of our core commercial competencies including but not limited to customer advocacy, technical depth, influencing, negotiation, financial acumen, product management, lean, and horizontal leadership
- Driving lean improvements via standard work, problem solving, and participation in formal Kaizen training / events with the ability to become a certified Kaizen Facilitator
- Direct exposure and networking access with executive level leaders, customers, and partners
- An annual ECLP Welcome Day and ECLP Seminar, designed to support development, build leadership capabilities, foster camaraderie amongst the ECLP classes, and to share best practices as well as lessons learned
- Potential for international assignment experience aligned with development and business need
Program Minimum Requirements
To be eligible for consideration, candidates must at a minimum possess:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Finance, Business, or Supply Chain Management
- Between 7-10 years of full time working experience
- Minimum of 7 years of experience within the aerospace sector or within a GE Businss
- Geographic mobility while on rotation per business needs and ability to travel up to 20% per year while on program
Program Desired Requirements
Desirable candidates will also possess:
- Master’s Degree or MBA in Engineering, Finance, Business, or Supply Chain Management
- Passion to gain a deeper understanding of the commercial function and driving success for Aerospace with internal/ external stakeholders, our customers, partners and colleagues
- Ability to lead and deliver on result orientated priorities using strong project management, analytical, time management and prioritization skills
- Act as role model of the GE Leadership Behaviors including Act with Humility, Lead with Transparency, and Deliver with Focus. Specifically, demonstrate the following:
