Our client is a Global Manufacturing MNC which is a leader in specialty chemicals. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a OMP Planner (Production Planning) to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the East.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the planning of raw materials, packaging and production through a meticulous analysis of supply and demand dynamics,
- Take charge and liaise for the Supply Chain, bridging sales and customer service regarding orders and confirm supply
- Lead meeting and collaborate with sales team to review demand forecast and enhance its accuracy.
- Identify and resolve supply shortages by work with other related teams/departments.
- Manage the inventory status (aging and slow-moving) and lead discussions with other responsible teams/departments to develop clearance plans and avoid the buildup of expired stock.
- Oversee the transfer of products and business while ensuring that product master data is accurately updated.
- Responsible for maintaining master data, ensuring its high accuracy to support a poweful planning system.
- Play a key role as a SAP user in the planning process and material master data management, providing support for system integration/migration.
- Responsible for Annual Stock take.
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Min Degree in Business / Supply Chain management or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of supply chain experience
- Familiar with SAP / MRP is a bonus
