Overview of the Role
The Media Director, Malaysia-Singapore leads end to end digital media planning and buying, with a focus on the Malaysia-Singapore market. The individual will assimilate expert knowledge of the consumers, culture, retail landscape and local media practices to build winning propositions for P&G.
Your Team
You will be part of the AMA Media headquarters based in Singapore and will report to the Senior Brand Director for AMA Media. You will work very closely with internal marketing and commercial teams, as well as external vendors and agencies to deliver results.

Responsibilities
- Lead digital media end to end with media planning, buying, optimization, KPI tracking, link to purchase
- Select the right audience, platforms, modelling and bidding strategies to improve media efficiency and optimize spending
- Lead digital transformation with outstanding media analytics & insights, consumer understanding
- Understand and assimilate data and insights on e-commerce, CRM, influencers, audience integration to develop digital strategies
- Run performance campaigns to drive CRM acquisition and online purchase.
- Run annual media landscape and media performance analysis to develop new media strategy.
- Digital reporting (Google, Facebook dashboards), find recommendations to improve performance.
Qualifications - External
- Minimum 5 years experience in media planning, bidding operations required and Market Ad tech space, preferably worked in media agency or Direct to consumer business
- Hands-on experience on planning campaigns & analysing results across key digital pillars – search, social, video, programmatic, website, Be-spoke, influencers
- Strong analytical ability to develop data driven media strategies. Excellent excel skills, other tools such as tableau, JMP or SQL are advantage but not requirement
- Strong leadership skills with ability to lead change and drive innovation
- High Collaboration skills internally and externally across region
