Job Description

Music Merchandise Sales Assistant focus on online and tour merchandise sales of international artists . You will have tons of opportunitis of attending shows in whole Asia .That means you would love to travel with Bands ' tour in Asia .

  1. Setting up and managing the merchandise booth: Ensure the booth is set up before each show in a clean, organized, and visually appealing manner to attract customers.
  2. Assisting customers: Greet customers, answer their questions about the merchandise, and provide recommendations based on their preferences ;
  3. Processing transactions: Handle cash and credit card transactions efficiently and accurately using appropriate payment methods and systems.
  4. Projecting and managing inventory and shipping : Project sales and track inventory levels, ensuring that popular items are adequately stocked and minimizing the risk of running out of merchandise; preparing shipping documents / negotating with forwarders for better rate
  5. Promoting merchandise sales: Actively engage with fans using various marketing techniques to boost merchandise sales, such as running promotions, creating exclusive items, or leveraging social media platforms.
  6. Handling customer inquiries and concerns: Address customer inquiries, concerns, or complaints professionally and promptly to ensure a positive customer experience and resolve any issues that may arise.
  7. Merchandise teardown: After each show, dismantle the merchandise booth, pack up unsold merchandise, and ensure the booth area is left clean and organized.
  8. Hiring and managing part-time sales staff: Recruit, train, and manage part-time sales staff to assist with merchandise sales during the tour, ensuring they are well-informed and capable of providing excellent customer service.
  9. Market information collection and marketing campaigns: Collect valuable market information .Additionally, collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing campaigns to increase merchandise sales and promote the tour.
  10. Preparing PPT for clients' approval and follow up the status & feedback from clients
  11. Negotiating with venues /promoters for better rates and places ;
  12. developing sales channels ;
  13. Others sales related tasks

Qualification

  1. Excellent on Word /Excel/Power Point/Email due to working requirement ;
  2. Excellent in English and/or mandarin (preferred) due to working requirement ;
  3. Retail or fashion background is an advantage ;
  4. Good knowledges of western artists/bands: This includes having a good understanding of their music, brand, and fan base.
  5. Good sales and customer service skills: Being friendly, approachable, and attentive to customer inquiries and concerns is important for ensuring a positive buying experience.
  6. Good communication skills and outgoing personality ;
  7. Excellent attention to detail;
  8. Teamwork and flexibility: during tour , need adjust your working time to fit with shows .need tour with bands round Asia key cities , such as Seoul , HK , Taipei , Bangkok , KL etc ;
