Our client, a leading manufacturer for automated wire processing, is looking for suitable talents to join their growing business as an Electronics Design Engineer.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the design, development, support and maintenance of industrial machines.
- Design electronic schematics for new products / upgrade of existing products according to specifications and oversee PCB layout.
- Select and evaluate suitable components for use in products.
- Perform risk assessments, EMC tests to ensure that products fulfill CE requirements.
- Create and update documents, connection diagrams and BOMs.
- Development of PCA test strategy from the PCA factory to top level factory.
- Provide technical support and trainings to peers for products within own area of expertise.
- Lead the department in regulatory issues covering EMC and machinery safety:
o Manage the Risk Assessment file
o Lead the design group in risk assessments
- Able to conduct design reviews before an international audience.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor Degree in Electronic Engineering
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in electronic engineering
- Proficient in Altium Designer
- Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical
- Experience in motion control with servo, stepper, AC and DC motors
- Knowledge of electrical circuit design, sensor application, automation, industrial control design
- Experience in developing control boards; knowledge of using STM microprocessors is an advantage
- Knowledge of Machinery Directives and CE standards
- Knowledge of UL, CCC and NR12 directives are an added advantage
- Knowledge of Sistema software in assessing safety integrity
- Software/firmware programming knowledge is an added advantage

- Salary: Up to S$5,500 ; Salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications
