Job Functions:
Be involved in the planning of Civil, Electrical & Electronic
engineering works.
- The Engineer possessing work for Telecom Pipe laying, SP PowerGrid pipe laying To collaborate with peers in other disciplines in feasibility study and design, and ensure delivery of quality service for clients.
· Any ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Manager.
· The electrical and mechanical (M&E), and specialist engineering works for compliance with the Singtel/SP PowerGrid/ PUB/LTA’s requirements and other authorities’ and agencies’ requirements for permanent works and temporary works.
. Coordinates and conduct safety related training program ( Safety Induction Course-SIC for General workers , Engineers , Managements , visitors , Sub-contractors, including certification of work on site ( Permit to work)
Job Summary:
· The Engineer assists the Construction Manager in performing engineering duties in planning, designing, and overseeing the Pipe laying and maintenance of current upcoming projects.
· The electrical and mechanical (M&E), and specialist engineering works for compliance with the Singtel/SP PowerGrid/ PUB/LTA’s requirements and other authorities’ and agencies’ requirements for permanent works and temporary works.
. Purchase plant map for underground services.
. Prepare & submit NCE application for relevant underground services.
. Arrange GTP & MPA meeting with authorities .
. Maintain all equipment’s and Machinery’s in daily , Weekly, Monthly & Yearly basis.
. Need to maintain materials stock and order.
. The Engineer need to schedule for all transport for work site and materials purchasing.
. Coordinates and conduct safety related training program ( Safety Induction Course-SIC for General workers , Engineers , Managements , visitors , Sub-contractors, including certification of work on site ( Permit to work)
. Plan and execute site emergency training and fire drill exercise.
. Inspect and rectify unsafe practices and conditions at work site.
Minimum Qualifications/ Job Experience:
- The Engineer should have Advanced certificate in workplace safety and health in construction site.
- Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
- Class2B with a motorbike or Class 3/3C licenses
Skills/ Abilities:
· Working knowledge of general construction knowledge, especially in Telecom/SP pipe laying Projects.
· Good verbal and written communication skills.
· Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
· Strong time management skills with exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks/projects at one time.
