Cash Administration Officer

Core Responsibilities:


  • Daily organization and reconciliation of the cash register ensuring its accuracy
  • Maintains cashiering disciplinary and ensure all staff adheres to Company's cash handling policies and procedures
  • Maintains the cash balance held in the safe for the purpose of servicing cash register floats and ensure sufficient coins and notes
  • Supports the Store Manager in implementation of the Company's new strategies, policies and procedures in all administrative aspect
  • To supervise, provide support, guidance, and training to all new staff
  • Maintains good housekeeping in the back office administration room
  • Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Manager

Job Specifications:

  • Ability to work in retail hours and during weekends/ Public Holidays.
  • At least 2 years of working experience in retail industry, preferably in a supermarket environment
  • Strong numerate and literacy skills
  • Articulate and good communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Have a strong sense of customer service.
  • Greets customers, responding to questions, improving engagement with merchandise and providing outstanding customer service.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
