Core Responsibilities:
- Daily organization and reconciliation of the cash register ensuring its accuracy
- Maintains cashiering disciplinary and ensure all staff adheres to Company's cash handling policies and procedures
- Maintains the cash balance held in the safe for the purpose of servicing cash register floats and ensure sufficient coins and notes
- Supports the Store Manager in implementation of the Company's new strategies, policies and procedures in all administrative aspect
- To supervise, provide support, guidance, and training to all new staff
- Maintains good housekeeping in the back office administration room
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Manager
Job Specifications:
- Ability to work in retail hours and during weekends/ Public Holidays.
- At least 2 years of working experience in retail industry, preferably in a supermarket environment
- Strong numerate and literacy skills
- Articulate and good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Have a strong sense of customer service.
- Greets customers, responding to questions, improving engagement with merchandise and providing outstanding customer service.
- Maintain a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
