About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Energy broking business. This role will ensure that Deals/Trades executed by front office staff on voice or hybrid systems are captured quickly, accurately, reported to counterparties within expected timeframes and anomalies are investigated and escalated.
The Successful Candidate Will:
- Provide trade support / operational support to broking desks on Energy/Oil desks
- To execute trade bookings and validation in an accurate and timely manner
- Post trade amendments, cancellations and reconciliations
- Resolving and following up on trade discrepancies or issues with Counterparties, Front Office or IT
- Work with Compliance and Technology teams to set up client and instrument files
- Ensure smooth operations of post trade process including updating counterparties and front office on trade flow.
- Producing daily and ad hoc volume and commission reports
Requirement
- ITE or Diploma or Degree education in any field
- Experience in Trade Support, Middle Office or Back Office functions
- Detail oriented, with the ability to appropriately prioritize tasks and issues in a time pressured environment.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Entry level or Candidate without relevant experience but with keen interest in Financial Services Industry are welcome to apply
