Job Description
- To assist the Project Manager or Project Engineer in the daily execution of work;
- Inspecting construction sites regularly to identify and eliminate potential safety hazards;
- Enforcing site safety rules to minimize work-related accidents and injuries;
- To supervise the work of sub-contractors and in-house workers;
- To work closely with other site operations staff to meet the project schedule;
- Ensure installation is carried out as per construction drawings;
- To monitor the progress and quality of work being performed by workers;
- Ensure that works are executed within an acceptable standard of workmanship;
- Attend the daily tool-box meeting and convey clear instruction accordingly;
- Understand and ensure compliance in project requirement and scope of work.
Requirement
- Diploma in any relevant technical discipline;
- At least 2 years of working experience in the related field;
- Good knowledge of building codes and construction safety regulations;
- Working knowledge of construction tools and equipment;
- Possessed of relevant safety certification (SCWSH / BCSS / CSOC / WH / First Aid etc.) is desirable;
- Highly proactive attitude, self-motivated, team player, problem-solving skills;
- Excellent organizational and communication skills;
Good written and spoken English.
