Job Summary
The position of Managing Director is a full-time position based in Singapore.
As Managing Director you will:
- Continuous quality control and monitoring of all editors in the office and actively address improvements where required.
- Liaise with the section leaders from China offices.
- Organize training courses for all editors in the office.
- Lead the scholar visiting activities in the office, including editors, authors, society representatives, university leadership and industry, with a view to understanding their professional and organizational needs and ongoing market developments.
- Analyze the editorial data in the office, and prepare the report to the management team
Requirements:
- Ph.D. degree in all fields
- Strong English skills in written and spoken language
- The ability to multi-task, attention to detail
- Organizational and time management skills
- At least 5+ years of professional experience with scholarship publishing
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Have experiences in managing a team of 20+ people
