- Work with engineering team to drive R&D innovation and generate engineering IPs within MEDs with focus on miniaturisation
- Lead MEDs engineering team for product development
- Provide technical advisory support for MEDs business to provide customised RF engineering solutions to customers
- Responsible to share and impart within MEDs engineering team good practice methodologies from product ideas to realisations.
- Provide guidance to product development through critical stages including concept/feasibility, development, preproduction, qualification, and production
- Summarise detailed technical concepts and propose major design recommendations
- Interactions with internal and external customers on technical specifications and issues
Requirements
- Master of Electrical/Electronic Engineering
- Minimum 10-15 years in related industry field of RF/Microwave engineering and design.
- Experience in product development for industrial and military applications
- Open mind for new ideas/concepts/technologies
- Inquisitive nature
- Ability to work well with people from many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to summarize concisely highly technical concepts and propose major design recommendations
