Director, SE Asia

Position Summary

QSC is currently seeking a highly motivated leader to build the company’s presence in the South East region in the newly created role of Director, SE Asia. The ideal candidate brings many years of executive leadership experience with a broad range of functions and region-specific knowledge relevant to Asia Pacific, and a general manager mindset to build out QSC Southeast Asia and carry forward the strong momentum of the brand and the company in the region. In this capacity, the Director, SE Asia will lead the creation of QSC’s SE Asia to develop and lead a high-functioning team, and oversee all key aspects of QSC’s operations in the region with a keen eye to maximize QSC’s potential and ensure scalable, long-term growth. The Director, SE Asia will be reporting directly to the Senior Director, Southeast Asia Pacific.



Essential Functions/Core Duties

  • Efficiently convey the management's vision and priorities to all relevant stakeholders within the company.
  • Assist in developing and comprehending QSC's product and technology vision and roadmap, while ensuring that QSC's go-to-market and business strategies are well-matched.
  • Ensure that every function in the Southeast Asia region is led by a unified and cohesive vision and shared priorities.
  • Grow and increase revenue and profit margins from QSC's Sales Partners in SEA Asia.
  • Drive all business development planning including building a sales/revenue plan for SEA Asia Market.
  • Deliver agreed results, including product mix, and focus within budget.
  • In conjunction with product development, the teams participate in market research, competitor, and customer surveys.
  • Respond to and follow up enquiries within a defined period by email, telephone, and personal visits.
  • Attend industry training and develop relevant knowledge and skills to enhance performance.
  • Monitor and report on activities, and provide relevant management information.
  • People management in:
  1. Direct sales activities within the assigned areas, set expectations, provide mentorship, prioritize efforts, and hold the team accountable for building pipelines and executing each phase of the sales cycle.
  2. Coach the Sales / Business Development team to uncover new opportunities and demonstrate the differentiated value of QSC solution.


Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, engineering, computer science, or similar discipline from a top-tier school; MBA or other advanced degree is a plus


Experience

  • 10-20 years of experience in the Southeast Asia region, with 5+ years in management roles within the region in the IT or AV industry
  • Proven track record of leading successful strategic growth initiatives and demonstrated ability to manage operations and teams in the Southeast Asia region

  • Strong sense of ownership and ability or desire to work independently

  • Excellent business acumen, problem-solving, negotiating skills, and analytical thinking
