Our client is a well-established MNC, market leader in the Water Treatment industry. They are looking for a Mechanical Engineer assist their Engineering team for the next phrase of their business. They are located in South – easily accessible.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare equipment specifications, requisitions, and conduct technical bid evaluations.
- Review and assess vendor bids and documentation for technical suitability, providing valuable recommendations.
- Collaborate with the Process Discipline and review equipment process data to ensure consistency.
- Foster effective communication and information exchange with other design groups, offering technical support as needed, and ensuring seamless interfaces between relevant drawings.
- Ensure compliance with the Client's Standards and Engineering Practices, following the Project Coordination Procedure diligently.
- Exercise control over Vendor's drawings and documents, ensuring adherence to PO requirements, and facilitating information exchange with other disciplines.
- Review and provide constructive feedback on various documents, including flow sheets, P&ID, equipment lists, plot plans, performance curves for pump, motor, and air blower, equipment foundation drawings, etc.
Requirements:
- Minimum of Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years hands on experience in handling Basic and Detail Engineering jobs for Oil & Gas or Offshore & marine industry.
- Good knowledge and hands on experience with international codes & standards
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, AutoCAD LT and Navisworks
