Main Duties and Responsibilities –Facility Manager
The Facility Manager will lead a team to ensure that day-to-day operations and technical issues are taken care off for the building service, utilities, with but not limited to the following roles and duties.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Certified Faire Safety Manager (FSM) to conduct annual activities stipulated by SCDF.
• Committee of the Company’s Quality Management System team to and ensure its effective application.
• Prepare and implement risk assessment for site operation.
• Plan and monitor operation cost control and budget estimation.
• Oversee maintenance works to ensure that all sub-contractors perform all contractual obligations under term contracts.
• Plan and oversee Additional & Alteration, upgrading and improvement projects to ensure work completion ahead timeline.
• Organise meeting with sub-contractors on their work performance and ensure the workflow to be in accordance to the SOP in the premises.
• Plan preventive and corrective maintenance works schedule, conduct and oversee inspection of building and identify defects/irregularities and follow-up on rectification works.
• Co-ordinate and control the internal operation team to ensure smooth operation in the premises.
• Conduct incoming and outgoing inspection.
• Manage the emergency and incident arises in the premises.
• Manage and liaise with customers’ request and feedback.
• Sourcing and evaluate of sub-contractors’ quotation.
• Perform tender interview and vendor specification to qualify term contractors and managing agent.
• Review of contract specifications and liaison with external parties on matters relating to the premises.
• Controls and monitors engineering documents traceability, updating, storage and movement.
Requirement
• A Diploma holder in Facility/Estate Management, Building Services, Electrical Engineering, or any related field
• Ability to plan, organize and supervise a tea of contractors in carrying out planned and ad-hoc maintenance work
• Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of Building Facilities
• Possess good communication skills and be able to relate to different levels of people
