Currently they are looking for a Senior Manager/Vice President, Projects, Group Development Management for a large mixed development in central area.
about the job
- Lead and oversee the entire project cycle of an Integrated Development, from inception to completion.
- Manage the development of design concepts / options for the projects, which include conceptualizing development design requirements and formulate design briefs to ensure that these are aligned with the Company’s development strategy.
- Manage the design consultants and liaise with all relevant authorities for approval of projects, manage the tender and award processes, as well as construction and contract administration.
- Ensure that the completion of projects is within budget, schedule, of quality and in compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate governance.
o Budget oversight: Monitor project budgets and expenses, making adjustments as necessary to ensure financial objectives are met.
o Schedule reporting: Prepare regular progress reports and project status updates for senior management, highlighting key milestones, issues, and resolutions.
o Quality assurance: Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure that projects meet industry standards and company expectations.
- Prioritize Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) considerations throughout the project.
skills & experience required
- Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Quantity Surveying, Architecture, Project Management or related field.
- Minimum 15 years' relevant development or project management experience with a focus on office or retail projects in Singapore and Asia Pacific to be considered as Vice President level and Minimum 12 years’ relevant experience can be considered as Senior Manager level.
- Minimum of one full cycle as a Project Director for a development project.
- Candidate with a strong background in project management with developers is preferred.

- Ability to encourage the creation of solutions appropriate to the needs of Business Units, shareholders and environment.
- Strong leadership qualities and the ability to manage and motivate teams.

- Seeks continuous improvement to design and processes through consistently challenging the status quo or value engineering the optimum solution to all aspects of the development.
