Responsibility
- Support the Growth & Investments
department through deal origination
of school transactions in the Asia
region.
- Identify and pursue of potential
school/ school group acquisitions in
the target geographies.
- Lead the new market entry strategy
for Asia Pacific region for the Group.
Support the underwriting of
investment business plan and board
presentations.
- Developing and executing market
entry strategies, financing and tax
structures and partnerships for the
group.
- Originate and evaluate investment
opportunities pipeline in the region.
Build and maintain network of
financial, real-estate and M&A
advisors.
- Present findings and pitch investment
opportunities during Steering
Committee discussions
- Support the financial and other due
diligences on M&A prospects.
- Research Asia market conditions and
developments.
- Maintain and lead relationships with
real estate brokerage firms and direct
their engagement.
- Maintain and lead relationships withpotential real estate partners.
- Maintain and lead relationships withprospective sellers of schools/ schoolgroups.
- Maintain post-acquisition relationshipwith sellers.
- Direct outside advisors andconsultants when required. Must beable to prepare scope of work andnegotiate rates with them.
- Building and maintaining productiverelationships with our targetcompanies and related network.
- Coordinate with internal GSH teamsuntil completion of the acquisitionsand ensure smooth deal closure.
- Collaborate with Integration teamspost-deal closure to ensure smoothtransfer of relationships to integrationmanagers as well as the relevantFinance and Operations teams
- Able to quickly understand thebusiness, its key drivers, and issues.
- Comfortable with conducting bothprimary (interviews, surveys) andsecondary (desk-based) marketresearch.
- Strong competencies in valuation, duediligence, as well as a strong workingknowledge of accounting.
- Excellent deal structuring skills, beingable to help arrange appropriatetransaction financing through on-the-ground financing partners.
- Able to deliver accurate, consistent,and polished output in powerpoint,excel andword format that clearlycommunicates key messages.

- Collaborative – able to leaddeliverables and collaborate acrossthe team.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks withminimal supervision.
- Independent ownership of projectsand deliverables is a pre-requisite.

Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
MBA from leading business school;Preferably possess a degree in Finance aswell.
Experience
- At least 15 years of work-experiencein real estate and deal origination in Asia.
- Experience of working with financingand development partners preferred.
- Must have experience of dealing andnegotiating with consulting & advisoryfirms.
- Experience of working with andmanaging the expectations of adiverse range of stakeholders.
- Should have worked in multiple Asiangeographies
