The Senior IT Product Testing Analyst will be responsible for performing regular quality audits based on established standards to ensure quality service to customers is consistently met. The Senior IT Product Testing Analyst will facilitate calibration sessions with Team Leads to generate timely and accurate reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis perform quality analysis, and be capable of identifying root causes and corresponding action items to improve and or sustain performance.
Role and Responsibilities
- Leads and manages the day-to-day activities of QA Testers and is in charge of all quality aspects of the system
- Works with the product manager, designers and development team to define the test coverage plan to ensure the test scenarios and test cases are scalable and sufficient
- Provide hands-on technical and functional input in the area of continuous testing, monitoring, and continuous delivery across multiple products
- Recommend and evaluate new tools to improve productivity, efficiency, and quality
- Proactive in improving productivity, efficiency, and quality of QA team
- Assess current framework and testing strategies
- Analyze Business, Functional, Technical, and UI (User Interface) project/release requirements
- Analyse bug trends and fine-tune QA processes to improve overall quality of the product
- Design and implement QA test Protocol and processes
- Assist with defining QA test Protocol and processes
- Develop, maintain, and support post-deployment automated tests
- Mentor junior team members on technical concepts and implementations
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- 3-4 years in the capacity of a QA Lead
- Relevant experience as a Software Tester
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Development, or related technical discipline
- Familiar with Agile tools (e.g. JIRA/Confluence)
- Continuous QA process improvement
- Test Automation skill sets are highly favourable
- Experience in tech or Fintech related service company would be advantageous
