HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL:
Involves working closely with front office and middle office Engineering teams on fixing Trade flow and Risk issues related to the Derivatives business of Goldman.
Responsibilities
As an engineer in AppBank Derivative Trade Processing team, your focus will be on rolling out critical enhancements across our software stack. You will work with highly talented pool of full stack engineers to debug, design, develop and deploy these changes. You will also get significant exposure to various business flows and collaborate with highly agile cross regional teams & business functions. You will also be responsible to train and optionally manage the junior members in the team and provide them a clear technical vision.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE SOUGHT
- 10+ years of work experience on Java/LINUX system platforms
- Good understanding of Derivative Trade processing concepts and its implementation in applications within an Investment Bank
- Prior experience in roles involving understanding changes to Post trade processing functionality and building solutions for the same
- Strong Core Java skills with dev experience in Restful API, Spring Boot, Java 8, Kafka
- Good exposure to Micro services Architecture,
- Strong problem solving skills, mastery in data structures and passionate about learning new technologies
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, ability to apply knowledge and experience in decision-making to arrive at creative and commercial solutions
- Ability to multi-task and be effective working in a fast paced environment by enforcing high code quality standards
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and willingness to work in a collaborative global team environment
- Support production environments, assist in the diagnosis and resolution of incidents, and maintain the stability and integrity of systems
