The Visa Talent Acquisition team is responsible for implementing strategies to identify, attract and hire quality, diverse group of candidates to build a strong and long-term pipeline of talent across Singapore and Asia Pacific. This team is focused on delivering best-in-class recruiting service to our Technology teams who are revolutionizing global payment technology. The Technology organization at Visa is undergoing a significant transformation in the way that we build, manage, support, and productize technology. They are solving substantial, complex technical problems and having the right talent is core to the success of Technology.

Working in partnership with IMDA, the Visa Technology Traineeship Program (VTTP) aims to change the mix of workforce in Singapore by growing a pipeline of strong local talent to address people needs for the wider Technology and Fintech industry. Together with a dedicated program team, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will be part of the Talent Acquisition Workstream to help drive the attraction and assessment of trainees and to bring them onboard into Visa.

 

Responsibilities

  • Be part of the Visa program team to support the full recruiting cycle of VTTP candidates including, but not limited to sourcing, screening, interview process management, maintaining candidate relationships, creating and extending offers to successful candidates
  • Provide accurate and timely status updates on hiring to the program team
  • Partner with training workstream to ensure a seamless transition for candidate experience from acquisition to onboarding to training induction
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and other People teams for conversion process of trainees to potential placements
  • Stay up to date with the progress of the traineeship program key achievements and raise any risks or issues to the program team
  • Facilitate any other administrative activities relating to hires
