Job Scope:
1) Cutting and fitting together parts of steel structural or steel plates
2) Use tools such as jacks, pry bars, hammers, saws, welding equipment or torches, and files or grinders
3) Position, fit, and align tack parts
4) Identify potential hazards and make necessary corrections
5) Work with handheld torches and/or plasma cutters
6) Any other ad-hoc operation duties as assigned.
Requirements:
1) Able to read and interpret simple drawings.
2) Min 1 year experience as steel fitter preferring in the Marine industry
