The Role Responsibilities

As a Data Engineering Lead, you will play a pivotal role in architecting, designing, and implementing scalable and robust data engineering solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Databricks, Azure, PySpark, Spark, Airflow, and possess advanced proficiency in Java, Python, and Go programming languages. This role requires a strong foundation in data engineering principles, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of successfully delivering complex data projects.

Business

· Architect and implement data solutions on the Azure platform, with a focus on Databricks, PySpark, Spark, and Airflow.

· Develop and maintain efficient, scalable, and reliable data engineering processes to support business analytics and reporting needs.

· Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand and address their data processing needs.

· Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the data engineering team.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and contribute to the overall data strategy of the organization.

People & Talent

· Lead a team of data engineers in the design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines and ETL processes.

· Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the data engineering team, ensuring best practices are followed and continuous improvement is embraced.

Our Ideal Candidate

· 10+ years of professional experience as a Data Engineer.

· Strong expertise in Databricks, Azure, PySpark, and Spark for building and optimizing data pipelines.

· Proficient in designing and implementing data workflows using Apache Airflow.

· Advanced programming skills in Java, Python, and Go.

· Proven experience leading and mentoring a team of data engineers.

· Solid understanding of data modeling, database design, and data warehousing concepts.

· Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.

· Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
