The executive engineer is responsible for the design, diagnostic, testing as well as repair and overhaul of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of the chillers and other related systems in support of our overall chiller manufacturing process. The engineer shall be required to independently plan, schedule, coordinate and optimize on-site and workshop activities and coordinate with the sales and marketing team where required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, diagnose, test as well as repair and overhaul mechanical, electrical and electronic components of the chillers and other related systems
- Spearhead digitization of existing chillers through selection, adoption and/or redesign of PCB & PLCs
- Coordinate and liaise with internal production, sales & marketing team as well as external end customers, contractors and consultants on-site
- Supervise and check suppliers’ works and/ or end customer requirements according to design drawings, specifications and regulation (local codes or relevant international design codes)
- Check and ensure the equipment and material offered in compliance with the specification and drawings.
- Generate engineering & electrical drawings with Autocad software
- Issue documentation for electrical & instruments - block diagram, control philosophy, cause & effect control philosophy, power loading list, control panel general arrangement drawing
- Perform all other duties as assigned and required.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical) or equivalent.
- At least 4 - 6 year(s) of working experience in Electrical/Mechanical related fields is required for this position
- Required Skill(s): Autocad, Microsoft Office
- Required Certification(s): Licensed Electrical Engineer OR Licensed Electrical Technician
- Required Spoken and Written Language(s): English, Mandarin
- Preferably with class 3 driving license
- Salary will commensurate with qualifications and experience
