Our client in the banking industry is inviting suitably qualified candidates to apply for the post of
KYC Data Management Analyst (1-year contract)
- Data Management: Collect, validate, and maintain static data, including client information, product details, and reference data, in relevant databases and systems.
- Data Quality Assurance: Conduct regular checks to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Identify and resolve any discrepancies or errors promptly.
- Data Governance: Develop and enforce data governance procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Process Improvement: Continuously review and enhance data management processes and workflows to optimize efficiency and minimize risks.
- Data Analysis: Analyze data trends and patterns to identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and operational efficiency.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with various internal stakeholders, including front-office teams, IT, and compliance, to understand data requirements and address any data-related issues or concerns.
- System Enhancements: Work closely with IT teams to implement system enhancements, upgrades, and migrations related to static data management.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of data management processes, procedures, and guidelines.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users on data management tools, systems, and processes.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with data management, including data privacy, security, and regulatory compliance.
Requirements :
- 4 to 5 years of experience as a Data Management Analyst or in a similar role, preferably in the banking industry
- Proven experience in data management, preferably within the financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of data governance principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in using data management tools and systems is advantageous
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work with large volumes of data.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements, such as GDPR or MiFID II, FATCA/CRS, AML is a plus
- Familiarity with SQL, VBA, or other programming languages is advantageous
