WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
You will join our Singapore office to work in teams and directly with our clients.
In this role you will help our clients in the private, public, and social sectors solve their most pressing problems. You will also work with many experts, from data scientists and researchers to software and app designers.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
You'll work in teams of typically 3 - 5 consultants to identify, and oftentimes implement, potential solutions for a specific client problem or challenge. Together, you will help clients make lasting improvements to their performance and realize their most important goals.
Over the course of each project, you will gather and analyze information, formulate and test hypotheses, and develop and communicate recommendations. You'll also present results to client management and implement recommendations in collaboration with client team members. In some cases, you will be asked to travel to your client site.
REQUIREMENTS
- Advanced graduate degree (e.g., MBA, M.Sc. PhD, etc.) or equivalent preferred.
- 2+ years of business consulting experience in a reputed company. Experience working in a top-tier management consulting firm is highly advantageous
- Due to work with global clients, prior experience working in another country is also preferred
- Solid functional knowledge, including but not limited to chemical and petroleum engineering, energy topics, strategy, operations, digital, product development, project management, marketing and sales, etc. Knowledge of/familiarity with top-tier consulting firm methodologies
- Prior experience and knowledge in chemical and petroleum engineering, coupled with a strong understanding of energy topics within the industry, will be an added advantage
- Proficiency in these technologies for internal and external communications: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Slack and Box
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and create an inclusive environment with people at all levels of an organization
- Capability to drive an independent workstream in the context of a broader team project
- Comfort with ambiguous, ever-changing situations
- Ability to break down and solve problems through quantitative thinking and analysis
- As our clients are English-speaking, ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, in English
