This will be a 6-months direct contract position with high likelihood of renewal for another 6-months as well as possibility of conversion to permanent.
Scope of Work
- Establish and define project scope, objectives and deliverables.
- Manage external vendors
- Oversee project execution
- Project progress monitoring and tracking
- Responsible for project documentation including status reports, risk assessments and change requests
- Coordinate project meetings with external vendors, prepare agendas and document meeting minutes
- Business requirement gathering from stakeholders
- Technical specifications translation from business requirement
- Evaluate and select technology solutions
- Work with external vendors
- Liaison between IT and business units
- Ensure Head of IT and other key stakeholders are regularly updated on the project progress
- Work with cross-functional teams
- Drive the quality assurance processes to ensure that the solutions meet the defined requirements and quality standards.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years’ of relevant experience in IT project management and business analysis
- Diploma or Equivalent in Information Technology, Business Analysis, or related field
- Proficient with Microsoft Project or Jira
- Working knowledge of SQL (Structured Query Language) and able to write basic SQL queries
- Fundamental data analysis skills including spreadsheets and data visualization tools for assessing project metrics and making data-driven decisions’
- Good understanding of cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
- Awareness of cybersecurity best practices
- Strong experience in defining and documenting business and technical requirements for IT projects
- Working knowledge of quality assurance and testing principles, including formulating and executing test plans
- Proven experience in troubleshooting and problem-solving to address technical glitches that may arise during the project.
- Good documentation skills
