Job Responsibilities:
- Handle full sets of accounts (AP, AR,GL and Assets).
- Prepare Month-end closing, band & Cash and accounts reconciliation.
- Reconcile with general ledger control figures.
- Prepare Journals, entries, closing monthly reporting.
- Responsible for filing and timely processing of accounting entries.
- Processing of payments to suppliers - local & overseas including taxes and other statutory payments.
- Prepare and submit tax return / GST return.
- Handle staff expenses claim
- Check bank balances and prepare cash position reports.
- Other ad-hoc accounting duties as and when required.
- Patent application submission and management follow up.
- Monitor Vehicle Parking Certificate for heavy vehicle
- Monitor Vehicle inspection date for Road Tax renewal
- Monitor insurance for all the company vehicles
- Other General admin duties.
Requirements:
- Knowledge in Microsoft Excel, MS Office
- Process effective organizational and follow-up skills, paying attention to detail.
- Demonstrate ability to handle work professionally, independently, and efficiently.
- Good interpersonal skills and able to interface with all levels, internally and externally, in a professional and responsive manner.
- Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent
- Candidates with relevant working experience will be added advantage
