About this role
This Structural Engineer is required to undertake structural design for major projects and produce drawings and reports in line with structural specifications. This role will be involved in small and medium sized projects, as well as being a key member of larger project groups that includes design, technical documentation, cost estimates, tender submissions, project scheduling and meeting deadlines and budget.
What will I do?
- Provide hands on structural design for a range of projects and structural design calculations
- Prepare and review of drawings submitted
- Participate in BIM coordination to assist in the implementation of the project BIM execution plan
- Work with structural technicians to produce Revit Models and coordination works with engineers of other discipline
- Produce project related correspondence and reports
What will I bring?
- Degree in Civil Engineer with at least 5 years of relevant experience in Structural Engineering in Building projects
- Proven Track record of a diverse range projects such as in low and high rise PPVC, Pre-stressed and Timber structures
- Proficient or have experience in Revit, Rhino/Grasshopper and Programming skills
- Good written and verbal communication, literacy, and numeracy skills
- Able to demonstrate strong design ability and engineering skills and knowledge
