Main Duties:
- To Verify and clarify the design for Architects in drawing perspective;
- Assists the Architectural design team to produce design drawings such as site plans, architectural layouts, sections, elevations and details;
- Maintains architectural drawings to be updated according to revised layout all the time;
- Makes the necessary changes to the designs drawings or specifications basing on Architects’ instruction;
- Helps Architect to coordinate with Qualified Person for submission drawings;
- Manages the subcontractors to achieve the required CAD/ BIM standard specifications;
- Preparation of Tender, Construction, As Built, Shop and Co-ordination drawings;
- Involves in the compilation of as-built documentation;
- Keeps discipline drawing list be updated, ensures drawing revision system is followed;
- Produces 3-Dimensional BIM model when necessary;
- Works with other discipline designers and sub-contractors to support inter-discipline and space co-ordination works;
- Mentoring of CAD designers during tender, design and construction phases;
Oversee and Execute
- For 3-Dimensional design, lead and oversee 3-Dimensional BIM model development;
- For 3-Dimensional design, lead and oversee creation and maintenance of Catalogues and Specifications;
- Assigns work to junior mechanical CAD resources and manage respective workloads;
- Monitors performance of mechanical CAD resources in terms of output and technical competence.
- Acts as project Design Co-ordinator when required.
Qualifications, Experience and Competencies (skills):
- Diploma in a related engineering field
- 10 - 12 years relevant experience
- Proficient in CAD/ BIM design and coordination of construction industry
- Proficiency in Auto CAD, Revit and Microsoft Office
