Responsibilities:
- Lead the software system governance to ensure compliance to organization processes and industry safety standards.
- Develop, review, update, and improve upon current organization processes and policies to incorporate up-to-date industry specific trends in system safety tools, methodologies and standards.
- Conduct independent software safety reviews and assessments of projects.
- Provide coaching and guidance to the project teams in the software safety management and engineering activities.
- Lead the Software Specialist Group to promote the software system safety culture and oversee software safety capability buildup activities.
- Share lessons learnt from prospects/projects software safety implementation and assessments.
- Lead and actively participate in discussions with external and the organisation’s system safety community.
Requirements:
- Degree Holder in related discipline.
- Min 8 to 10 years of relevant experience.
- Relevant experience as a Project Manager, Safety Manager or equivalent.
- Possess understanding of the system/software development life cycle.
- Proficient in the principles of software system safety engineering.
- Possess sound knowledge of industry software safety standards, practices and methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effectively collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
